2FA Authenticator & OTP

These Terms of Service govern your use of 2FA Authenticator & OTP. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app provides
The app generates time-based one-time passwords from setup keys you provide, scans compatible authenticator QR codes, and can generate and save passwords locally. It is a utility and does not operate, control, or guarantee access to any third-party account.
Your responsibilities
- Use the app only for accounts and setup keys you are authorized to manage.
- Keep independent recovery codes or another recovery method for every protected account.
- Protect your device against unauthorized access and check a generated code or password before relying on it.
- Do not use the app for unlawful activity or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the app except where applicable law permits it.
Local data and deletion
Your authenticator setup keys and saved passwords are stored locally in an encrypted vault. Zoopet cannot recover them. Uninstalling the app removes its local data, and you may lose access to protected accounts if you have no other recovery method.
Third-party services
The app may display advertising through Google Mobile Ads and may use Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent choices. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. The app may also open third-party account or store pages; Zoopet does not control their availability or content.
No security guarantee
We work to provide a reliable security utility, but no software, device, or authentication method is completely secure or continuously available. The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Do not treat it as your only account-recovery method.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoopet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the app, loss of locally stored credentials, device failure, or loss of access to a third-party account. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms to reflect operational, legal, or security changes. The effective date will be revised when these terms change. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it after securing alternative account recovery methods.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
